The Abbreviated Christopher Radko Story
In 1984 Christopher Radko bought a new aluminum stand to replace the one his family had used for years. Well the stand failed and a week before Christmas the tree fell over breaking a devastating amount of European glass ornaments, that his family had collected for years. Needless to say, Christopher was devastated. He tried replacing ornaments in the United States, but he couldn't find any. On a trip to Poland visiting family - he tried to find the ornaments. Still no luck, however he did run into a man who's family had made these ornaments for a living many moons ago and he wanted to revitalize the art. So he and Christopher got together and brought the art-form back to life. Now, 20 years later... Who would have thought? Congratulations Mr. Radko. Happy Birthday Radko ornaments!
